Interline Tours and Travel (U) Ltd is a privately owned company managed by experienced Hajji Dr. Katende Mubanda Suleyman [IATA/UFTA. dip, B.COM, MTM, PhD] as its Managing Director.

It is a registered member of the Association of Uganda tour operators [AUTO], The Uganda Association of Travel Agents [TUGATA], AND International Air Transport Association [IATA].

Interline Tours and Travel works closely with the Uganda Tourist Board [UTB] and the Uganda Wildlife Authority [UWA] to devise means of preparing viable tour packages and the best ways to satisfy travel needs on global scale.

We have served the Tourism industry for over 20 years and have practical experience on how to best satisfy travel and tour needs.

People and Culture

People in Uganda are grouped into region comprising of vast number of tribes. These regions are: Central, Northern, Western and Eastern.

The earliest human inhabitants in Uganda were hunter-gathers. Remnants of these people are today to be found among the pygmies in western Uganda. Approximately 2000 to 1500 years ago, Bantu speaking populations from central and western Africa migrated and occupied most of the southern parts of the country. The migrants brought with them agriculture, ironworking skills and new ideas of social and political organization, that by the 15th - 16th century resulted in the development of centralized kingdoms, including the kingdoms of Buganda, Bunyoro-Kitara and Ankole.
